Environmental Advisory Council

The Board of Supervisors created an Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) under regulations adopted by the Pennsylvania Legislature. The EAC is a volunteer group of five members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The term for a member of the EAC is three years. Due to the number of members and length of the term, not every member’s term expires the same year. Some of the responsibilities of the Council in their advisory capacity include: identifying environmental issues, creating environmental programs and discussing environmental issues that might impact Perkiomen Township.

The EAC meetings are scheduled the third Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Perkiomen Township Administration Building, 1 Trappe Road, Collegeville, PA.
